Do animals need privacy?

A video of chimps ‘grieving’ and a claim that creatures crave privacy suggest that animals share human emotions. Animal lover Ros Coward is not convinced..

    I disagree with Vivian. How can we tell people about animals if we let them all “go back to their own places”? Where are their places anyway? Usually their places are right where we want to build something. If we never see animals, we never understand what they need to live. I think this article is right. We place too much of our own emotions on to animals when we really don’t know what they are thinking.

    I do respect animals’ privacy and I like to treat them well. I hate going to the zoo to look at the animals as it is not respecting them. Putting them in the cage deprive their right of freedom. We should free all the animals in the zoo and they should go back to their own places.
