If I could create a new festival, I would call it ‘The Family Day’. It would be an extra holiday on the last day of every month. It would be a unique festival in Hong Kong.
Why would I create this festival? Living in the busiest city in the world , Hong Kong people always spend most of the time on their work to reserve a position in the society. They are always nervous and stressed. Usually, they have no time for their family. They just work, work and work again. In order to build a closer relationship with their family, definitely a festival called ‘The Family Day’ should be created.
Then, what would people do on that day? Well, I think it is not important actually. The main purpose of this festival is to let family members crab the chance to get closer with each other. Whatever activities they would do, such as hiking, going on a picnic, or even playing monopoly at home could make more fun in the family. Money is not needed. Time is the only expense to exchange with the harmony of the family.
Anyway, I wish people could be relaxed and get back the love in their family after a long month. I want all of them could feel warm on that day!
